Conditional entries using EMA data, SPX intraday or gap data, and VIX intraday or gap data all load time sensitive data from TWS. To ensure the data is current before placing a trade, TAT checks the current timestamp of the data in question. For this check to work properly, it is essential that the time and timezones match between TWS market close time and the timezone TWS Is using.
To set the market close hour in TAT, you select the appropriate time on the Settings page. In the example below market close is set to 3:00 pm (which is the close time in the US Central time zone)
To set the time zone in TWS, you need to select "More Options" when signing in, and then select your time zone.
Once signed in, you can confirm the time in TWS matches the time on the computer/server:
You also need to ensure that TWS API Settings are set to sent API data using the "operator timezone". This can be found in Global Configuration > API > Settings
